SAM CORBIN

ABOUT

Sam Corbin is a New York-based comedy writer, humorist, and performer. Her writing and wordplay have appeared in The New Yorker, Vulture, Reductress, and in ads across all of your screens. Despite years spent trying to ditch the accent, Sam remains Canadian. U.S. Customs and Immigration deems her an “Alien of Extraordinary Ability,” which means she is both a national treasure and legally obligated to make you laugh for a living.

(If you know Sam because of her minor celebrity in the field of competitive punning, please accept her deepest regrets for anything you have heard her say onstage.)

Sam is currently writing a feature and co-hosts Vocabaret, a monthly variety show for language lovers at Caveat in the Lower East Side. She has been called “a force of whimsy,” and “a jackass” by some lady in the park who was probably having a bad day. Follow her everywhere: @ahoysamantha.
